One Burgess Hill offers a choice of 15 self-contained units overlooking the stunning Waiwhakaiho River and native landscape. Spectacular views, most beautiful place i've ever stayed in NZ, spacious room, and absolutely clean. Very good location near the town or go for hiking in the National park( both in 10 minutes drive). Definitely worth staying for more than 1 night.

Ocean View is situated between Ohope Beach and Pohutukawa clad cliffs and is just a short walk from the beach. Free Wi-Fi is offered and free private parking is available on site. Beautiful setting with long, flat, walkable beach. Great view of ocean, balcony with comfy chairs. Really nice apartment with everything you could possibly need. Wish we could have stayed longer! Pat and Glynis are friendly, impeccable hosts.

Located in Ohakune at the foothills of Mt Ruapehu, Rocky Mountain Chalets Ohakune provides accommodation with free WiFi, mountain views, and access to 2 hot tubs and a sauna. Very close to town. Included washer and dryer and laundry soap. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were late leaving, and the staff were very gracious about our problems.

Located in Papamoa, Pacific Palms Resort offers a year-round outdoor pool and a hot tub. All units have a satellite flat-screen TV and either a balcony or a patio. Very clean and comfortable beds

Offering free WiFi and a garden, Beachpoint Apartments is set in Ohope Beach, 3.7 km from Whakatane. Free private parking is available on site. Amazing location and the apartment was exceptional. Everything you could need. It rained for part of our stay but it was just as good to sit on the lounge and watch the ocean in the rain!
