Everything about this apartment was amazing. I can’t recommend it enough. The setting is beyond spectacular, well worth the extra drive from Funchal. The village is quaint and friendly, with a food market just up the street and beautiful trails nearby. The apartment is large, yet still cozy, and well maintained. And the hosts are wonderful. I can’t say enough about this apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m hoping to be back as soon as possible.

The apartment was very central and well equipped. A charming host who arranged a taxi from the airport and was so waiting to greet us. Furthermore, he phoned me the day after we had left to say I had left a couple of personal items to arrange their return. I would recommend this apartment as everything was excellent.

Located in Funchal, Apartments Madeira Old Town are a 5-minute walk to the beach and to the Funchal old town. Lovely location that’s very close to lots of restaurants and the lido. We stayed for New Years and the view of the fireworks from the balcony was out of this world. But the best thing about the property is the host Sarah, she’s such fun and was so easy to communicate with during our stay.

Such a great place with the most friendliest host. Would definitely recommend to stay here! Very well equipped kitchen and super clean traditionally furnished, spacious room. They even offer you some Madeiran drink and breakfast supplies for first morning is a great bonus - and some bread delivery at mornings.
