The host was friendly and exceptionally helpful. He let us know about the market one block away that pops up on Saturdays - it was a real sight, full of fresh food and crafts. He met us two times during our 3 day stay including departure, and assisted with transportation to the train station (you can travel to Bayeux from Paris easily by train). Bayeux is a small town so this was within easy walking distance to all places we wanted to see there, and to the pick-up point for tour shuttles, too. Bayeux is a great place from which to visit both Mont St Michel and the D-Day sights, and it has good shops and restaurants. It's of course also home to the Bayeux tapestry.

This place was great for our family of 4. It is exactly as pictured and it is well maintained. Situated on the main walking street in the city, it was nice to walk around after a day around Normandie. Pascal offered detailed instructions how to reach the parking lot right behind the apartment. This parking lot offers free parking in four hours increment by using the parking sign and all night is free. The cider offered was a nice touch. Definitely will come here again if in the area.

We loved Heloise! She was excellent - very good communicator and very helpful. She provides detailed instructions that can easily be referred to on the kitchen counter. She picked us up from the train station and gave us a tour of the apartment. The apartment was immaculate, beautiful, and spacious. The location can't be beat. I really wish we had stayed longer.
