The location was perfect for accessing the old town of Sarlat as well as the main shopping streets with bars and restaurants. Very handy for the Christmas market and the big general Saturday market. The hosts were communicative and helpful. The apartment had everything to make it comfortable and pleasant. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Absolutely magical apartment to stay in Sarlat. Herve met us upon arrival to hand us the keys (and freshly picked walnuts, haha - thank you, Herve). The apartment is located right in the historical center of Sarlat on a charming medieval street that was very quiet during the day and night. Wifi worked great for us. The apartment is spacious, super clean, and very well equipped including the dishwasher and washing machine (which we greatly appreciated after a week of road-tripping). Overall, it is a really wonderful value, so don't hesitate and book this place if it is available :)

Location is excellent, just a short walk from the centre of the old town. The appartment is pleasantly arranged and decorated and seems to be equipped with everything you might need (we didn't really use the kitchen other than to make coffee as we had all our meals out). Also we were able to park in the owners private parking for 5€ per night.

The location could not have been better. It was a 3-4 minute walk to two small grocery stores. The area was overflowing with restaurants and shops. The owners had thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. We did a lot of our own cooking to take advantage of the fresh vegetables from the market and the only thing we ever wished for was an oven mitt! And, to top it off, the bed was the most comfortable ever!

Bedroom and ensuite were decent size and bed was comfortable. Tv with lots of channels. Air conditioning in both bedroom and living space was welcome as it hit 40 degrees. Well located 5 minutes walk from old city.

The two bedrooms were a good size with room for hanging clothes and large windows that opened onto the street one floor below. The apartment included comfortable chesterfield, soft footstools and coffee tables; kitchen chairs for eating around the counter; good lighting throughout; modern kitchen appliances. The whole place was just perfect for what we wanted: unbeatable location to the old centre (yet so quiet!), loads of character, well equipped, spotlessly clean, flexible space for privacy and being together, and great communication. We had a lovely welcome and Niyada who took great care of us, and we could not have been happier with our accommodation choice to enjoy gorgeous Sarlat.

We had such a friendly and helpful welcome, and we all loved the old building charm of the place with all the mod cons necessary - not to mention the fabulous views everywhere. It was easy to park in the free parking about a 5 minute walk away, then explore Sarlat on foot. Even though we were right in the middle of town, the rooms were lovely and quiet.LorinaGroup

She spent many many hours during our two day stay helping us with our major problem. The location of the apartment is excellent if you have a car.
