Close to trams, metro and buses but also close to Carrefour. Great location if you want to stay outside of the city centre. Rather small kitchen but it had the basics we needed. Washing machines and tumble driers available. Will come back here if we get the opportunity.

The flat was well equipped, comfortable and clean. The host provided a good explanation of how to access the flat and it was very easy to collect the keys and access the accommodation. The building was quiet, the neighbourhood pleasant and close to public transport. We would recommend this accommodation!

Not quite what we expected, but comfortable. We had read that you pick up the key from the address, and they asked for our time of arrival, so we thought that meant the owner would be at the premises. But no, this is an apartment that is strictly vacation rental I think, and is run by a property management company; we didn’t meet anyone for our 4 night stay. There were limited reviews, but both 9 stars, the photos were beautiful, so we were pretty confident. It is in a quiet working class residential area, directly across the street from a huge park used mainly for sports. The entire apartment is furnished by IKEA, right down to the dishes and art work, and is nicely decorated. Kitchen was well supplied, although no dishwasher, but we knew that. Internet was fast and reliable. Bed was just a double (no room for bigger), but was comfortable, with decent linens. It was very hot while we were there, and there is no fan, so even though we removed the heavy quilt it was uncomfortably warm at night - didn’t leave the windows open as it’s ground floor. An 8-9 minute walk to the metro subway station, and 20 minutes ride (10 stops) to Old Lyon, the tourist district. There is an excellent little restaurant at the end of the street called Kebob Braisse, very reasonably priced.

The apartment was really good value for money. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The apartment is close to really good transport links, so it was easy to get to all the tourist areas. Also loads of hot water for showers. It was great. We collected the keys from a lock box, which made checking in/out really easy. The owner was so helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. We used the apartment as a base as our daughter is studying at one of the universities in the city for a year. It was perfect
