Our stay in this house was exceptional! cozy rooms with magnificent views to wake up to, the house is fully equipped to make your stay more homey and our host was the most gracious kind and easy going lady. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Danmar's house!

Exquisitely maintained, very peaceful, with a gorgeous pool area. We also had a cottage (Niniou) overlooking a beautiful and private garden.

Beautiful place, 20 minutes from everywhere!

The village is very nice, a little out of the tourist area (better this way) but at the same time close to the Chora and convenient for getting around the island. The village has two taverns and the beach of Ammitis which is very quiet and easily accessible. The accommodation is new, absolutely comfortable and equipped with everything: the well-kept kitchenette allowed us to enjoy complete autonomy, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a fantastic shower! (They also provided us with everything we needed for a shower and it was high quality supply). The outdoor space was also very nice and overlooked the garden which guaranteed privacy and tranquility for relax or an evening drink. But the most beautiful thing was the genuine hospitality of Maria and her husband: two exquisite people, attentive to our needs and always smiling .. they made us feel at home (maybe even better !!), welcoming us from the first day with local products from their garden (the grapes were fantastic, the tomatoes, the figs, the bread .. thank you very much !!) and they made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Maria also made us a really good cake !! In conclusion, this was for sure one of the best accommodations we have stayed in, the accurate and present hosts without ever being intrusive made us taste the best of true Greek hospitality. We will definitely come back and recommend your accommodation to family and friends! Thank you so much. ~Sara & Simone~

The location is fantastic. Eggares is a non touristic village of Naxos in which we could avoid noisy chora and the crowded places. The host Katerina is very kind and helpful. Smaragdi is a traditional house, ideal for families and not so far from Chora and the beaches by car. Naxos is a beatiful island and Smaragdi is a great place to stay and relax.
