Le mongolfiere is a wonderful accommodation in Lucca, in the old town, close to piazza del Amfiteatro. We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very nice decorated, really charming and in the kitchen area you find everything that you need for cooking. We loved the feeling of staying for a few days in this beautiful accommodation and strolling around the streets of old town Lucca.

The apartment is very well located, close enough to the Lucca city walls. It took about 15 minutes by bicycle to get to the city center. The apartment is very spacious, clean and well equipped. The owner gave us two bikes for our sons, which unfortunately we only used once, because of the extreme heat. We were invited to serve ourselves in the beautiful garden, full of tomatoes and other vegetables. The owner and his mother were very friendly.

The finest details around the flat made it that little bit special and definitely gave you the Italian feel. Francesco is an amazing host and is around if u need anything. The location is right in the centre of Lucca. The flat itself has so much character, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Each room is very spacious and feels like home, the kitchen and cooking facilities are amazing and has everything u need. The shower is so powerful and lovely and hot. The terrace area just topped it off and gave an additional space to catch some sun, eat some food and relax with some wine.

The size was great and the room so cozy and well decored so we could have stayed here for a long time and even just stayed in the room, if Lucca hasn´t been as lovely as it was. I would recommend this room/apartment to everyone who will travel to Lucca. We were staying in the room at the top of the building, the "penthouse" flat.AnneYoung couple
