Everything was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was super clean and recently renovated, modern furniture with a fully equipped kitchen (including a dish washer). And the balcony had the most beautiful view of the main (sandy) beach and the sea. Spending my mornings there enjoying my coffee or the evenings with a glass of local wine, looking at the sea and watch people go by on the boardwalk was magical. Also, the accommodation is super close to the train station, just a 3 minute walk, so it offers easy access to the other 4 villages and, of course, other Italian regions.

We (2 adults + 2 young kids) stayed at Come Eravamo for 5 nights. The place had ample room to spread out and relax. You can't beat the location, it was less than a block from the beach, which was a huge bonus for our kids as we swam (yes in October it was warm) everyday. It's less than a 2 minute walk to three very good restaurants, which are off the beaten-path and very reasonably priced. It's a 5 min walk to the train station, overall just a fantastic travel base for those touring the rest of the Cinque Terre. At check-in we were greeted at the station by our host Claire. She was so sweet and went straight into grandma-mode by carrying one of our kids as we walked to our place. She is a kind and genuine person who helped make our stay amazing. The rental was very clean and even had some fresh local snacks waiting for us in the kitchen. The kitchen was well-stocked, so we ended up cooking dinner two of the nights we were there. There is a grocery store about 50 feet up the street which has all the basic necessities needed. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were good size for Europe and of course. We will definitely be returning as we had such a positive experience

Best location in Monterosso. Angelo was an excellent host and was always available to help. You will not find another place closer to the water/beach. The views are incredible and the craftsmanship on the interior is beautiful. The patio overlooks the beach and is a great place to relax and watch the sunset. Highly recommend!
