Each apartment comes with air conditioning and a seating area a sofa bed. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a microwave.

Christian was a perfect host. He picked us up from the train station in his personal car with his adorable side kick Silly. He brought us through town pointing out key places as we drove by and took us straight to reception, We checked in and he offered us several suggestions for places to eat and must see sights around the lake. Christian made reservations for us for dinner for both nights we were there. Then suggested a couple of places for lunch and appertivo.

We arrived at Casa Mary at night and when we walked in the apartment we could not believe our luck. The room were spacious and the view from every angle was spectacular. It was beautiful looking at all the lights around Lake Como. The apartment had everything you needed. The balcony was huge and just lovely to sit and relax. Mary even left a gift for us which was such a lovely touch. Thank you Mary. We would highly recommend this place. If we ever come back to Varenna we will certainly come back to Casa Mary. Being close to the ferries we visited a lot of the towns and Varenna was our favourite.

Welcomely - Casa Margherita, apartment in Varenna

The spacious apartment is equipped with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a balcony with lake views. The accommodation is non-smoking.

The host, Luca, is wonderful! He actually met us in town and walked us to the property. To our delight, the apartment was directly on the waterfront. It boasts a wonderful balcony with chairs and a table to enjoy the view. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Luca told us about the area, restaurants, etc. He was most helpful. The apartment is situated perfectly in the older part of town with many lake front restaurants nearby as well as shopping and just a short walk to two wonderful botanical gardens and the tourist information office. This was the perfect spot for us to enjoy Lake Como with easy ferry access just a few minutes walk from the apartment as well as easy train access just up the hill. I think Welcomely Casa Margherita was perfect for our stay in Varenna.

    The host, Lorenzo, was helpful and carried our bags to the third floor because there is no elevator. He was friendly. The apartment is spacious and clean, overlooking the lake, and the view is wonderful. It has a kitchen, cooking utensils, plates, cups, coffee, sugar, salt, and a microwave. Lorenzo takes care of recycling waste ,There is free parking on the public road near Flat ,I highly recommend it.

    Lovely little studio apartment with beautiful views of the lake. The host has certainly put a lot of thought into what amenities will make a traveller's stay more comfortable. The kitchen is well kitted out with everything you could need, even including travel adapters. The directions and instructions were very clear.

    Tizi’s house is amazing. The location is perfect - a short, flat walk to the centre of Varenna. The actual apartment is spacious and super clean, as are the grounds of the house. The facilities are excellent and there is even a washing machine. Tizi is an exceptional host and went out of his way to help us with suggestions of places to go and where to eat. He even picked us up from the train station. We have been travelling through Europe for the past month and this property is number one on our list. Thank you Tizi

    The host was extremely considerate and kind. She picked us up from the station and most nights from the port after our day exploring. She also provided us with basic food and drinks for breakfast and great suggestions of things to do on the lake.     Maria and Pietro met us at the Plazza as we arrived by taxi and escorted us to Annina’s House which was a great help as it is not easy finding your way thru the many little vias and steps The accommodation is decorated in traditional Italian and is well appointed with all you need for a short stay holiday We spent six wonderful nights The studio is centrally located and at mid level so stair climbing is minimised .

    Amazing view! Easy to park your car in the garage - approximately 7min away from Varenna centre by car. It was not the most modern apartment, but the price is reasonable. Good value for money. We would stay here again.
