The apartment was sufficiently large and comfortable. We found everything we needed in the apartment. It was well equipped and clean. The owner communicated with us very nicely and quickly. Parking in front of the building was an advantage.

Dzīvoklis atrodas skaistā vietā, Santanas pilsētā, 5 minūšu attālumā no centra. Dzīvoklis ir gaumīgi iekārtots, ļoti tīrs, tajā ir viss nepieciešamais aprīkojums, lai ērti justos un ērti dzīvotu. Te ir jūtama laba saimnieku gaume dzīvokļa iekārtojumā. Ir pieejama arī ārā jauka atpūtas vieta ar grilu. Saimnieki ir izcili laipni. Interesējās, kā mēs jūtamies, vai viss ir labi, vai nevajag kādu palīdzību. Pacienāja mūs ar mājas vīnu, augļiem no pašu dārza, piedāvāja garšvielas un salātus, kas aug dārzā pie mājas. Esam daudz ceļojuši, bet tik laipni uzņemti tikām pirmo reizi!

Atrašanās vieta ļoti laba, kā arī tuvu lidostai. Dzīvoklī ir viss, kas nepieciešams. Ļoti jauki saimnieki. Un pilsētiņā ir lieliska konditoreja ar gardām kūkām. :)

We just loved our stay here. The apartment is the large top floor of a house, above the landlords, open plan (including the bedroom), well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen, as well as the superb indoor and outdoor barbeques (wood is provided). The views were lovely towards sea and mountains, both in the distance. The apartment had a good-sized terrace, with outdoor furniture. The house is located in a rural setting, with cows in the garden, and vegetables growing all round. We walked one day to the local restaurant (Cantinho da Serra – excellent), about an hours walk, along undulating but very quiet roads. There were tiny issues, like everywhere, and we warn people to pay attention to their heads on some of the low corners, but overall it was splendid. Above all, this stay was made for us by the owners, Maria and Nuno, who were generous in their hospitality. They are an extraordinary and very warm couple, who have made this a special home from home.

Great house and very lovely owners who welcomed us very warm. Everything was prepared quite lovely from Abel. We didn't expect to get so many fresh fruits or vegetables :) wow! THANKS A LOT! Great host and house! Spacious and well equiped. Arco de Sao Jorge is a lovely village in the middle of nowhere but great for people who love to be in an area without too many others. The perfect start hiking in Madeiras north. Small shops in the village and a huge mercado in Santana. Great communication beforhand with Edgar - really felxible. thanks for everything!

What an incredible value! The apartment is roomy and with views over the mountains. We stayed in apartment A which was the bottom apartment and it still had amazing views. The apartment was absolutely spotless and plenty of linens were provided as well as a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. It is within walking distance to the town, as most things are in Santana, and the host was quick to respond and flexible with check out--much appreciated!

The size and layout of the place are its strong points. There is a lot of room and the terrace is beautiful, with a pretty view. The kitchen is well equipped and with a sizeable fridge The wi-fi speed is good and the parking spot nice and shaded, but with a bit of a tricky visibility.
