Spotlessly clean with all amenities. Caveat - the building is a bit run down but that s the case all over Egypt so not the owner’s fault. That is also why the price is economical and it is fabulous value for money. - laundry is there - Ammar helped do my laundry and there is a dryer as well so you get your clothes clean and dry. - it felt like staying at a dear friend s home and Ammar also offered help with organising tours.

Very well furnished and comfortable apartment. Per our request, we were provided with a stove and cooking utensils. 1 km from the Abu Simbel temple. We had our car and driver for the overnight stay, so it was easy to make the trip to the temple in the evening for the sound and light show (besides the morning visit ). Market with groceries and vegetables was about a 500 meter walk. It is possible to buy Tickets for the Sound and light Show in the Guest House.They also offer Souvenirs. In the evening the owner drove us to the Temple and picked up us after the Show for free.
