The apartment is located in seclusion, quiet and dark, ideal for observing and hunting for the northern lights.

It was truly incredible. The design is modern and clean and it's beautifully decorated. It is immaculately clean, really comfy bed, very well equipped kitchen. There is even a BBQ for summer guests. You can park very close to the cabin. Perfect for a couple or single traveller. The location is stunning surrounded by mountains and with two sides of the cabin being windows you can watch sunset and sunrise over the lake which was really special. It is isolated enough to get stunning northern lights displays, but easy to reach. If you want to buy alcohol you need to travel to Fludir, but that was no problem as I combined it with a trip to the Secret Lagoon. It is well situated to visit Thingvellir, Gullfoss and the Geysir area. I was lucky enough to be treated to 2 nights of incredible aurora displays visible from the back of the cabin. I travel a lot and this is the nicest place I have stayed in a very long time, I can't really put it into words. I immediately felt cosy, relaxed and a sense of happiness. Just a stunning place.
