Ci dispiace di non aver conosciuto di persona il proprietario, comunque attento e disponibile a soddisfare ogni richiesta, ci siamo sentiti coccolati: dalla coperta termica ai beni di conforto (riso, pane, bevande,..) al Travel Book che abbiamo trovato utile e divertente. There's also a comfy lounge room that has TV and other entertainment. The kitchen has microwave, refridgerator etc, so we bought our own food, heat it up in microwave and ate in the lounge room. The host is very friendly and always ready to help. After we check out, he immediately went to clean the room. The parking lot is big.

Excellent location, close to everything but still quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well.

The comfort of a Japanese home away from home. All facilities made our stay easy. We loved cooking dinner and enjoyed a very relaxed two days in Takayama. Convenient to have a separate bath/shower area and washing machine+dryer. Three bedroom was perfect for our family of five. The location of the house is very convenient as well, just a few minutes away from the temple, old streets and market. Also close to supermarkets. We will definitely book this place again to explore the region a bit more.

Set in Nakatsugawa, 21 km from Ōi and 21 km from Enakyo Wonderland, GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA offers air conditioning. The hospitality given to us by the owner was above and beyond. We arrived late but it was no problem. He then cooked us a delicious dinner. Breakfasts were simple and yummy. The next evening the host took us to partake in an onsen at his "local" country club" and then had us booked into the terrific restaurant there which was great as we were there in low season and nothing close by was open. Highly recommend.
