An added feature in the form of a personally managed fireplace I had thought to be pretty cool as it was something I had no experience over and yet the hosts were able to instruct and manage us even if we were laymen. The accommodation itself was indeed superb but what made the experience exceptional was the service we received; constant and consistent communication, a warm welcome in the form of organic vegetables and surprise treats in the fridge, and 24/7 on call service. It was plainly nothing I had ever experienced elsewhere.

Situated in Okayama, HimawariRyokanひまわり旅館 is located a 10-minute drive from Okayama Station. Free WiFi is available in all areas. We felt so much at home. Wished we could have stayed forever. The rooms where a good mix of western and Japanese style. Close to all impotent locations. Such a nice Lady who checked us in.
