Location is excellent - just a short walk up the road from the train station where we arrived. It's also close enough to the town centre for pedestrian access to shops and restaurants, and there's a pleasant walk to the abbey around the back of the town (directions provided). Self-check-in was a simple process, exactly as described in the welcoming email we had received the previous night, and we found our rooms clean and ready for us, with almost everything we could possibly need, and an invitation to relax on the adjacent terrace or in the cute rear garden. We went off to get lunch and visit the abbey, and didn't return until after dinner, so we finally met our host later that evening when he delivered our breakfast ingredients. These were fresh, in generous quantities, and most enjoyable. Our host must be one of the most thoughtful, friendly and generous people you will ever meet. He made us feel most welcome, and we enjoyed our stay, which represented excellent value for the price.

The property is located in a very quiet, secluded place, when found it hiding in the woods, it is the one of the most beautiful and peaceful scene one can see. The building is very well decorated inside and our bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious for 2 ppl. Our host Jerome is warm and knowledgeable, it is interesting to have a talk with him.

We liked the setting and also the fact that accommodation with a restaurant was available as we were cycling and there weren’t any other suitable places around. The host was welcoming and provided secure storage for our bikes undercover.

Absolutely fantastic little place. Nicely furbished room, nice bathroom. The whole building was very nice. Parking right in front of the building. It is kind of in the middle of nature, so the place is very calm. The owner was very nice and friendly. I really recommend this place!
