The young girl at the reception was a true GEM. She was very friendly and helpful in trying to find us a place to have dinner (see my comment about dinner below please). The breakfast was good but may I suggest they offer eggs? They could put a basket of hard boiled eggs or perhaps a egg boiler so that guests could boil their own eggs? Any eggs not consumed that breakfast could very well be used the next day (so no waste).

This is an excellent place to stay for touring the pyrenees and from france to spain. I stayed for two nights having booked for one, due to the location, quality of accommodation, the friendliness of the hosts and quality of the food. Breakfast was very substantial and i liked the availability of tea and coffee plus the common lounge. The room was also excellent. The hosts allowed me to put my motorcycle in the courtyard and the garage, although not needed, was also opened up. I would definitely stay here if i was travelling the same route to spain. Bielle is a super location from which to explore this part of the Pyrenees and our hosts Elodie & Tibo were fantastic. The bedrooms are very comfortable, spacious and we had great views from the windows. The hotel is a focal point in the village and so its buzzy during the day and evening and we had great fun meeting some local people and exchanging Franglais. Genuinely everyone we met on our 3 days were delightful. My favourite part was being given a tour of the hotel by one of the children and exchanging expressions in French Welsh English and Basque and having a chilled beer just gazing at the mountains. Place and People are the key ingredients here.
