We had a very pleasant stay. It was only for one night but you could easily spend more nights and have fun in the little city of Bar le Duc. Very nice and clean room, very nice and helpful couple as hosts.

The owner greeted us and willing to make restaurant reservations for us. Very comfortable , super spacious accommodations. Breakfast was delicious. Parking car and entry very easy.

Madam was an excellent and charming host, location central but quiet, room outstanding, bed and pillow very comfortable, dinner recommendation superb, breakfast delicious

This is a unique environment..... a 19th century manor house that has been lovingly restored with lots of quirky decoration points showing its long history. The owner is passionate about the house and it shows - he has a wealth of stories. The house has been restored true to its history - the bathroom is modern but in all other respects it is like stepping back in time - a very welcome change after all the anonymous chain hotels i have stayed in. There is only 1 guest room at present and you have the run of a lovely bedroom and reception room. We had an evening meal and breakfast there - both featuring local produce (in the case of breakfast this means eggs from the free-range hens that have the run of the garden) - all presented and served beautifully - even catering for my diet!
