Danielle and Joel were the best hosts! Caring, kind and welcoming. Their beautiful suite is so thoughtfully arranged, comfortable, so clean, and has everything you might need. The gorgeous mountain views are stunning. They provided great information on places to eat dinner, and then provided a wonderful breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend a stay here. Jacques and his family/team did everything possible to insure our happiness, comfort and satisfaction. Super friendly. The downstairs area was cozy with a fireplace and lovely tables for snacks and breakfast, which was healthful and delicious . The steam, bath and massage activities were delightful. We will definitely return to this unique and rustic spot.

The hosts were friendly, helpful and solucitous of our needs. I was travelling with my elderly parents who found navigating the stairs and uneven floorboards a challenge. Having said that, we all agreed that the building was delightful, with its exposed beams, large rooms and period furniture. The beds were really comfy (one of the house cats seemed to agree!), the bathroom spacious and spotlessly clean. The provenance of every item on the set menu was explained by our hosts and we enjoyed our meal in the company of another guest at a long dining table. It was a fabulous experience.

The young girl at the reception was a true GEM. She was very friendly and helpful in trying to find us a place to have dinner (see my comment about dinner below please). The breakfast was good but may I suggest they offer eggs? They could put a basket of hard boiled eggs or perhaps a egg boiler so that guests could boil their own eggs? Any eggs not consumed that breakfast could very well be used the next day (so no waste).

Beautiful and very cosy house with nice rooms. Great location to explore the nearer area like for hiking or bicycle trips. The owner was really nice, helpful and made us a great breakfast.
