The location was perfect for exploring Carcassonne by foot and free parking on site made it extremely easy. Juliette was welcoming and gave us critical info including restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was exceptional. The fresh baked bread and croissants were delicious and the home made fig jam from the tree right outside was a one of the many details that made this our favorite stay of the entire trip. Our only regret was not having more time. We will definitely have to return!

Breakfast in the morning was very good. Poolhouse offers a fridge and space where you can prepare your own meal. We loved our stay and will come back one day! Breakfast was a wonderful selection, each table had their own buffet with cheeses, meats, salad items, fresh fruits, patries and breads - plus excellent coffee. Karen and Andrew, from their initial greeting right through to our departure a week later were simply wonderful, their beautiful house and it's divine garden provided a much needed rest, yet it was so near to the city for sightseeing and dining opportunities. If visiting Carcassone Number 15 is without a doubt the perfect place to stay.
