This was the best booking of our trip. Our hosts, Lief and Lucy went out of their way to make us feel like we were part of their family and shared their knowledge of the area and all of its attractions. Everything about Domaine de Labarthe was spectacular! Our hosts and their staff, our room, the romance 🥰, the gardens, the pool (which we didn’t get to use this time around as the weather didn’t cooperate), the wonderful continental breakfast with home-made jams…we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay. The countryside around Cahors is absolutely beautiful, and our hosts offered great advice with villages and restaurants to visit, which we did and had a wonderful time. This stop in the Lot Valley is unmissable - can’t recommend highly enough! We will be regular guests!
