A gorgeous property right in the heart of town, at the foot of the castle walls. The room was bright and super clean, and a stunning terrace to sip a house cocktail and watch the sunset. The hostess was very lovely, the most accommodating, and we especially loved the house cats! Would highly recommend.

The host and hostess were delightful. The wife spoke English well enough to for someone who did not speak French to speak with and the husband, who spoke virtually none, was happy to chat with me about a wide variety of subjects, particularly his garden. The hot chocolate was homemade and delicious, and their cat Albert was happy to give us our cat fix far from our own. The town was well-situated for excursions to the castles in the Loire Valley, and there were restaurants available about a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
