Our group (5 friends and family, all on a cycling tour) *loved* Maison Saint James. The hostess was super friendly and accommodating, the property was wonderful, and the location was truly great. We prefer to stay away from "tourist districts", and while I don't think Montelimar has a real tourist district at this time of the year -- late September -- we enjoyed being in a real neighborhood yet still with easy access to shopping, dining, and so on. Rooms were large, quiet, and private. The breakfast was varied and delicious, including not only very fresh (still warm) bread from a quality bakery, but also homemade items from the hostess' kitchen. As I said, we loved the comfortable familiarity of the Maison. When we return to Montelimar (and we will!), we hope to be able to stay here again.

Room was super comfortable, great bed and quality linen. The whole villa was elegantly decorated and spotless. Breakfasts were great with lovely egg dish each morning , fresh croissants , fruit , yoghurt, great coffee and served in a lovely setting. The hosts were very welcoming very hospitable and fun to chat with. They provided good advice on local attractions and restaurants . The garden and pool were also lovely. All in all , top class.

The room was so nice. The decoration, the terras and a very good bed and shower. Swimming pool very refreshing and hidden in a nice garden, full of surprises. A real hidden gem!! Owners extremely nice and willing to help.

We loved verything- le jardin is a little gem. It is a little cottage in a very large garden and is very private. Beautifully renovated, lots of art, comfortable bed, nice terrace - great value. We arrived by bike from the via Rhône and it was very relaxing. As a bonus, we were given a few fresh eggs & picked some tomatoes from the garden. The hosts live on the premises so easy check-in & check-out.

We stayed at La Tour Des Remparts for three days in July and loved every minute. Laurence and Pierre-Yves have recently neatly renovated the place and have succeeded in preserving the original and lovely atmosphere of the place. We had two of the rooms and access to a common kitchen where we cooked twice and sat on the lovely terrace in the evening. In the morning we were served fresh bread, croissants and good coffee. The pool is nice for an evening swim and just for cooling off. We went to Montelimar, Avignon, Pont de Royans and for a swim at Pont d’arc. You can also visit vineyards in the area. We would already love to come back sometime and would recommend the place and the lovely hosts very much to you all.

We had a room on de 2nd floor and it was very quite there. Very decent breakfast.
