First of all the owners are super friendly! They where the perfect hosts! The room itself was big, with a separate seating area. Also a large bathroom with a really nice shower. Everything was exceptionally clean! Breakfast was traditional french breakfast with bread and butter (and some jam). Bread was superb tho! We had a wonderful stay there, and thank you for the great tip regarding the view at Varengeville-sur-Mer!

A charming house and a lovely garden populated by a plethora of free-range chickens, ducks and geese, amongst others. The owner, James, is as characterful as the house itself, being both a treasure trove of local information and a delightful host.

It was a wonderful adventure for us to live in the château tower overlooking the spring garden. Very comfortable bed. Everything is very high quality and well thought out. Special thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and advice: Mémorial de Caen, Honfleur, and the restaurant on the first night were a gems of our trip :))

This is a wonderful place to stay.. so comfortable and we feel rested, relaxed and ready for the next part of our journey today... The welcome and conviviality of the host was excellent. Typical continental breakfast was served. There is a super pizzeria just around the corner. The location is an easy and well signposted ten minutes from the ferry port where I was heading. The only slight moan is that the property is a little hard to find as it does not appear on gps. The reason is that it is set behind the house with the same street number. Just leave 'Bis' out of your search and remember the house is set back.
