Moulin Royale completely exceeded our expectations in every discipline. It was much more than just staying in a guesthouse - it was more like staying in a dreamhouse, which can be described as a mix of visit to a lovely decorated Art Gallery, with beautifull details, a museum, where you could feel the spirit of the past. Modern AC, TV, electrical appliances were available. After check in - We took a swim in the pool right in front of the house, which was great. Our host Moe was absolutely wonderful and helpful in every way, gave us all information and advice we needed, made us feel very comfortable, served a fantastic breakfast, showed us around the property and recommended a nice restaurant in Pierrefonts at the lakeside with a view on the castle. In the evenig we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed a glass of wine an were inspired by the ambiente. What I really found very fair (in comparisson to all hotels and guest houses all over the world), were the prices of the minibar! Softdrinks 1,30 Euros - which is close to supermarket price. We would rate with 6 stars, if possible. For all travellers that may come close to the region of Compiegne - we definitly recommend moulin royale.

Great breakfast - Top quality of the bedroom (pink bedroom) with smell of rose - Great welcome by Virginie and her daugther - Exceptional site with peacock, peahen, hens and donkey. More especially the breakfast which is served in a very beautiful place where we can discuss withs other guests, eating eggs from the law yards and listenning the Virginie's advices about the places to visit.
