Location - just yards from the main square and amazing restaurants. We received such a warm welcome, and our hosts, Herve and Franck went the extra mile on so many levels - from homemade kiwi and apple marmalade with breakfast, to helping us navigate the French police system when we got our car towed! But I have to mention the art and decor too - we just felt like we were stepping back into french time with wonderful wooden floorboards and staircase, and surrounding by inspiring and actually comforting art works. We will return.

Our bathroom was particularly stunning! It was comfortable and warm too. The family dog (and I'm not a doggy person) was charming and well-behaved. This is a good place from which to explore the area. We appreciated greatly the impromptu supper offered: a bowl of delicious home made soup, with bio bread and local cheeses

The house is superb and the welcome from the hosts was excellent. I would go as far as to say that this is possibly one of the nicest places I have ever been to. The house has been tastefully renovated and is just lovely. I may even take some of their decor ideas and use them in my own home! The breakfast was lovely and included lovely homemade jam and apple juice made with apples from the garden
