The hosts Serge & Annie France are extremely nice people. They are gracious and they care about their guests and their well being. The breakfast was awesome with homemade jams. The room was very clean, comfortable and private. I would definitely return.

We were smitten by the elegant charm and comfort of the beautiful Chateau de La Vallade as well as its lavish grounds. Special thank you and gratitude to Céline who welcomed us before our actual arrival. Giving advice, guiding us through our unexpected delay. Her kindness and expertise made our stay even more unforgettable. Our room was very stylishly decorated with a comfortable bedding and a beautiful view. You have a feeling of staying in unique historical place but enjoy all the modern conveniences. That’s a perfect combination) Breakfast was delicious with warm croissants from the local boulangerie and delicious gourmet jams! We have enjoyed a beautiful view and a tranquil atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back to spend more days or exploring the area, playing golf and dining ! Highly recommended))

The guest accommodation was outstanding. We had a superb bedroom and bathroom and a lovely lounge area. It was very hot whilst we were here(36c) so the pool was a godsend.

It's a village, no one bothers you. There's a garage for your car. I guess there are some interesting things around like a porch or an alpaca that is wandering outside - but I didn't have time to check them out. There's an AC/heating in the room, might come in handy. The propietary is really nice, speaks English enough to explain everything. I would totally recommend for one person for one/two nights. For two people, still possible, the bed is big.

We were greeted by the owner with smiles and a helping hand after a long day of traveling. His mother was there to help with our delicious breakfast the next morning and we had a great conversation. Our room was large with lots of windows and bathroom that gave us a choice of bath or shower. There was an area for kicking back and relaxing in comfy chairs in a well landscaped courtyard. I only wish that we could have participated in the dinner that was offered but our arrival time was too late.
