Set on the banks of the Touvre River, this 16th century château offers elegant rooms and a 2-hectare garden.
The spacious rooms are individually decorated in soft tones and feature parquet flooring and antique furniture. All offer views of the garden and some include a fireplace.

It was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful and interesting place. The château and it’s grounds are pleasant and comfortable. It’s about a fifteen minute drive to the center of Angouleme, and I suspect a lot nicer than any of the alternatives there, especially as a base for exploring the region. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful, and the breakfasts, featuring home cooked dishes, often made from fruits grown on the property, were delicious. There is also a beautiful river a short walk away and two wonderful dogs. All in all one of the most enjoyable places we have ever stayed. And quite reasonably priced.

we want to thank Michele, the host, for our wonderful stay in her beautiful home. Michele is a great host with sense of humor and very good energy. Her energy put us already at ease, as if we were fruends for long time already. we felt at home. the bedroom was absolutely beautiful and perfectly cleaned. we felt that we were in 19th century with all the beautiful furniture full of charm. Mysthic athmosphere. The breakfast was so great, so good that we had breakfast and lunch at the same time ;) We can say that this stay was one of our favorites in our lives. And the big lake with swans in front of the house is beautiful beyond words. Michele thank you so much for receiving us with such a good energy and humour. Contacted on the day and given clear road directions as sat nav info was wrong. This made it very easy to find. Although it's behind a large shopping mall the chateau felt very rural with woodland walks, which was ideal for our dog. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again

Very nice and cozy stay. Good breakfast (including a homemade apricot marmalade!) everything very relaxed, good access to everything, easy walk to restaurants and shops. The owner is very nice, friendly and helpful in every way. Will come again.

Lovely quirky place to stay, Hosts were very nice, helpful and friendly. Breakfast in our room was really good. access to the beautiful terrace was just lovely and very unusual. beds were very comfy and shower was great. All in all a really lovely place to stay Location is good, only a few minutes walk to centre of town. would highly recommend.
