The host and hostess were most hospitable adding to our knowledge of the area. (Ben Franklin landed in nearby Auray on his way to Paris, the host informed us, otherwise we would have missed an interesting part of history.) Breakfasts were festive with the host cooking! The hostess, a former college librarian, produced a number of fascinating books on local history and industry. Started our days with a full agenda of sites to see!

I loved the location, close to Vannes en close to the megaliths of Carnac. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and there was a good parking place. The room was downstairs. We appreciated not to have to climb stairs! The breakfast was very nice en the host and his wife were very friendly.
