An exceptional place built in the owners garden , a unique bedroom ,lounge and bathroom all built by the owner. The grounds around the stone built house had be crafted with a pool house ,swimming pool and separate driveway allowing total privacy during your stay. Michelle provided a delicious breakfast, all home made from omelettes to jams. A wonderful place and we shall return.

The pictures don't do the property justice, it is absolutely beautiful. Since it is a very old property, the apartment has a lot of character (as does the rest of the building). We had the downstairs apartment which is very spacious and has a nice private outdoor area. And with amazing views! Even though I didn't see any airco units inside, the room was surprisingly cool even during very warm days. The bedroom was huge, the bed comfy, and there is a little kitchen connected to the living room that we very happily used on numerous occasions to cook instead of eat out. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and they pointed us towards great locations (that we wouldn't have found otherwise) to swim or go sightseeing. Also, they sell a few bottles of local wine... get a bottle of merlot. :)

Antoine is a great host and his B&B is both very comfortable and very stylishly decorated. The B&B is situated in a very nice part of the countryside and there are hiking paths passing by the B&B. The trampoline and the pool table were very much appreciated!

We stayed for five nights in the Chateau’s apartment and as a base to visit the Ardeche region. The apartment is decorated in a modern style, with a fully equipped kitchen (including washing machine and dish washer), and air conditioning. There is also an exquisite jacuzzi bath. We appreciated the space, outside of the main chateau, yet with access to all the facilities, notably the pool (which was ever so refreshing in the late afternoon). We only had breakfast once, which was delicious (even made us omelets), and just beautiful taken from the Chateau’s terrace. It was a short walk down the hill through the Chateau’s park to the town (Vals-les-Bains), with all of its facilities and activities (we enjoyed the Summer concerts in the public square). It is a (short) climb coming back up, but good exercise after a meal! All the staff at the Chateau were incredibly friendly and informative. A very relaxing holiday here, which we thoroughly enjoyed!
