Set in Lochearnhead, in a historic building, 36 km from Lake of Menteith, The Croft where Architecture Meets Serenity is a bed and breakfast with massage services and garden. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The property offers barbecue facilities and outdoor furniture.

Our stay at the Croft was a joy. The host was very welcoming. The food provided for breakfast and an evening meal was a delight and I had the most comfortable night I have had for a while in the bed in the yurt. We were in the yurt which was surprisingly spacious and felt wonderfully homely. The whole property has been beautifully renovated and the garden bountifully planted up. All in all this was a treasure.

Parking on-site is convenient. The property is charming. The carpets are thick and cushy. Best to get a bigger room if you have checked luggage. My room was a bit tight but it’s ok for a night. Excellent breakfast.

Great location. Our lodge was definitely in the best position. We felt it was very private and loved the view down to the burn. We walked up the hill on the dog track a few times. An easy walk up to forestry tracks. The log stove was very efficient and the whole place was warm and cosy.
