Was not expecting a cooked breakfast as well as the cereals etc. Property was easy to find, parking a breeze and a close to town with lots of restaurants etc. The Farmers Market was on but didn't start until 10.30am - too late when you are travelling

Situated in Moffat, in scenic Dumfriesshire, Queensberry House offers free parking and cooked breakfasts. Set in a Victorian building, the bed and breakfast has cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Queensberry was a great place to stay, both with the experience of warm hospitality from the hosts and the many things to see in the area. We found the room very comfortable, everything laid out perfectly and with a bright bathroom. Excellent breakfast with top notch cooking. With advice form the hosts, we enjoyed sights in Moffat, including the distillery, gardens, good restaurants, and did some beautiful hikes that are close by in the hills.

This small country inn is situated in the centre of Moffat, a former spa town where national bard Robert Burns was one of the many visitors who came here to take the waters.

Great little touches in the room like water, soft drink and even chocolates in the little bowl!
