Very comfortable bed and room to stay in. The staff is also very nice, and give a lot of recommendation of where to visit. I arrived early to store my luggage and they let me check in immediately. They even have maps. Location is very near to a bus stop that you can use the Hakone free pass, and 10-minute away from the main station. The food at the bar is also good and pretty cheap. Overall a very good place to stay.

Fantastic location right next to Gora station with a spectacular view of the mountain valley. Very cheap lodging for this location. Most friendly staff I've ever met at any lodging. Ryo who was the staff at the front desk and housekeeper during our stay talked to all the guests in the communal space and made it a truly special experience.

The shabu shabu pork dinner was exceptional and good value with a hotel stay discount. The breakfast was early (8AM) I like to sleep in :) But it was good and they were so kind! Mac gave some tips on the stores to go to as I was looking for a specific piece of art. Mac and his wife are great hosts! Go out and see the sunset if you can on the lake, it was AMAZING!
