Just 4 minutes' drive from Akaroa Town Centre, L'abri Bed and Breakfast is set amongst pristine gardens, and is home to a range of local birdlife.

Jane was the best host and no detail was too much. She made sure we were comfortable and felt at home. The accommodations were lovely and peaceful. I was able to do yoga on the deck overlooking the gorgeous view. Her attention to detail in her amazing garden was stunning.

Glenwood Akaroa Bush Retreat - Kanuka Hut is located in Akaroa and offers a terrace and barbecue facilities. This bed and breakfast features a garden and free private parking.

It’s as described: fully self-contained; amazingly quiet and beautiful setting; comfortable and clean. Despite being ‘off-the- grid’, the bathroom was brilliant and I never had a problem with cell phone signal etc. Furnishings and fittings - including a robe that actually fit me - were pretty luxurious. The owner, Ken, went above and beyond to support my visit - including dropping me down to town one day. Town is a walkable 40-50mins - even at my plodding pace - but it’s up a very steep hill on the way back. It would be a walker’s paradise - if I was a walker - tracks off everywhere! Stars have to be seen to be believed.

Glenwood Akaroa Bush Retreat - Totara Hut, bed and breakfast a Akaroa

Situated in Akaroa in the Canterbury region, Glenwood Akaroa Bush Retreat - Totara Hut has a patio and sea views. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

The hut is up high on a mountain with views to the sea. We had the local geese and sheep pass by during the afternoon. There are lovely walks well marked to follow. In the evening it was very quiet.

We had a wonderful stay! Hosts were amazing and breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed the spa very much and it was a wonderful first stop on our NZ road trip.

Akaroa Coastal Studio is situated in Akaroa. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a kitchenette.

Very friendly hosts. Light-pollution free environment. Location was very private. Great natural views towards the bay and the sunset right out the window. Bed was comfortable. Free cookies were delicious. Torches were useful.

C'est Magnifique, Akaroa offers adult-only accommodation in Akaroa. Some rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV as well as a seating area where you can relax.

The Rectangle is gorgeous, clean, very well-equipped and has amazing views! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the owners were very welcoming and helpful.
