From the other hand, it can be noisy, because the buses start at 5:30 am and people standing in the line to the bus to Machu Picchu can be loud. But if you stay for one night and leave early as well, this place is perfect!

Franklin is such friendly host, made me feel at home at the hotel. there was fruit and bottled water in my room when I arrived. shower was hot which I appreciated. there was also a heater in the room but I was warm enough and didn’t use it. wifi was good. I was also able to store my luggage at the hotel when I hiked up to Machu Picchu and after that when I returned and went to the hot springs. breakfast was simple but good - bread, eggs, yoghurt and muesli, tea or coffee, juice, fruit.
