Definitely one of most beautiful places I have ever seen. Big old house made of stones surrounded by flowers, winyards and gardens. Breathtaking wiew of Douro and the hills covered by winyards. The place is extremely quiet and friendly. Everything was clean and very cosy. Very good breakfast made partially from their own products. You can buy wine, which is also very good. Nobody speaks English, but you can easily communicate as the host family is very friendly.

It was an amazing stop in our journey with stunning view, very comfortable bed, stylish design of house and room, delicious and fresh breakfast in pleasant atmosphere. Tudo era perfeito! Cristina and Nuno are the best hosts! Hearty and comfy meals with local products, great Porto too! The swimming pool is absolutely gorgeous! Most probably our best stay in Portugal!

This is a remote location which after 5 weeks of heavy travel was much appreciated, beautiful views. The earlier reviews noted it was smart to bring my own food which I did. It was a wonderful retreat for a few days! This place is clean it is comfortable and the host is the absolute best. Daniel made sure I found his spot by guiding me there himself due to a road closure, the next day when I got turned around he helped me again. He is gracious very accomodati g and makes awesome PORT!
