אנחנו משפחה ישראלית (הורים ושני ילדים). ממליצים בכל פה על שהייה בדניאלה'ס בונגלוז. זה אמנם לא ריזורט יוקרתי, אך מבחינת תמורה למחיר זו שהייה שווה ביותר. המלון במרחק כעשר דקות הליכה מהחופים ה'נחשבים' של בו ואלון. במרחק 2 דקות מהמלון יש חוף פרטי מקסים ולא מתוייר כמעט. בעלת המלון אישה מקסימה, חמה ולבבית, ועזרה לנו בדברים שונים ונתנה לנו יחס אישי ונהדר. החדר נקי מאד ומרווח. ארוחת הבוקר מעט חוזרת על עצמה, אך נחמדה בהחלט. אם אינכם שוכרים אוטו כמונו (כי לקחנו סיורים מודרכים במהלך שהותנו ולכן לא היינו זקוקים לאוטו) ניתן לנסוע באוטובוס שנמצא במרחק דקות ספורות למשל למרכז העיר ויקטוריה... נהנינו מאד מהשהייה ואנו ממליצים מאד. We had a wonderful stay at Daniela's Bungalows. The hotel is about ten minute walk from the touristic area of ​​Beau Valon with its lovely beaches and there is a most lovely beach adjacent to the hotel. Since we pre ordered a guided tour to the more far beaches we didn't even rent a car , as there is a bus stop nearby (you can buy a prepaid bus ticket at a store a few minutes' walk away) and so w8e easily reached the center of Victoria (12 minutes bus ride). The room is very clean and spacious. And above all, we enjoyed the wonderful attitude of the host, who is a particularly warm and kind woman and helped us in many ways. We highly recommend this stay!!!

Booking online is always a bit of a gamble, but the Forest Lodge is exactly as promised. All the photos are legit and it is indeed a very cozy guest house a bit away from all the noise, except for the many animal sounds from the surrounding beautiful forest. What we valued most while staying there for 12 nights was first of all the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the manager and his staff. We were even lucky enough to have been offered a dinner, which was absolutely fantastic. As mentioned, we were very happy with the ambient and the abundance of space in the room/studio. Siting on the balcony and drinking your favorite morning/evening drink while watching birds and fruit bats flying all around is as good as it gets. We were surprised how well the staff maintain clean and tidy rooms as well as the surroundings of the house. We were also a big fan of the in-house drinks fridge, which is self-service. The only thing that could see some improvement in my opinion is the kitchenette. It is useful, but very basic. The stove is painfully slow. A gas stove or induction plate would be a superb upgrade. For some people, it should be noted, that there is quite a walk to the beach. There is a small local beach, but it is not as nice as the main one in Beau Vallon and it is not extremely close either. That said, we had no problem walking every day and using the bus. There is plenty of bus stops all around and it is a good way to explore the island. From the lodge to the main road is about 8-10 minutes walk, and a further 1 minute to the bus stop and another 2 minutes to the closest shop. The local beach is around 10-15 minutes of walking and the Beau Vallon beach is around 30 minutes of walking. If this is a problem for you, rent a car. There is free parking at the lodge.

Oceanic View Apartments gave me a real feeling of safety and personal comfort. In my life I used to travel a lot and had seen many different self-catering establishments, expensive hotels and apartments. By the way, I stayed the first part of my trip at a good and quite expensive hotel, with breakfast and cleaning. Unfortunately, without such a fantastic view. One of the most important things over any kind of travelling is the safety of your stuff. Comfort comes after, because it is not comfortable to think that something can happen with expensive computers, cameras, documents and money. Oceanic View looks like a little fortress with walls, modern moving cameras, automatic switching light system and security. So my first and very important demand was satysfied. When I entered the territory, I got nervous, because my luggage was extreamly heavy! Two strong man helped me everywhere to put it up and down. But Maria and Brian helped me to put everything on the 3-d floor. They said: "Just relax, and don't worry". So it was true. My room had a really fantastic view. It was the biggest one. I didn't look the other rooms, but this one was good enought for everything. Cupboards for my many many dressings) Little table with big mirror, separate table with two comfortable chairs, nightstand, pretty evening lightening everywhere! The bad was also big and comfortable.Modern quite air conditioner, very gentle fan (believe me, fans can be very agressive), and of course two side fantastic view! This view showed me how people live on the Island and what they were doing. Very good experience! I would like also mention that you will be able to see night Beau Vallon and the Island. It is impossible to do it from the first line, just believe me. It was some kind of evening meditation when I was sitting very high in dark, drinking tasty cocktail, thinking about how things are going. No interruption, just relax.

First of all we really appreciated Rupert's warm welcome, kindness and his helpfulness. The apartment was very clean, not far from the beach (it's a really nice walk to the beach). Supermarket, ATM, restaurants, the market, even the open air gym, everything is nearby. We'd surely book it again.

Breakfast was really nice with fresh ingredients. The host, Jessie, was also incredibly helpful with everything. Close by beach was beautiful and easy to reach by foot. Nearby were several supermarkets and restaurants.
