Понравилось абсолютно всё. Отель лучше, чем на фото. Есть ощущение приватности, дружелюбный и ненавязчивый персонал. Во время пребывания в отеле мне нужно было закончить важный проект по работе - тишина и хороший интернет были обеспечены. Я сменила несколько отелей за время пребывания на Сейшелах, этот был лучшим. Booking online is always a bit of a gamble, but the Forest Lodge is exactly as promised. All the photos are legit and it is indeed a very cozy guest house a bit away from all the noise, except for the many animal sounds from the surrounding beautiful forest. What we valued most while staying there for 12 nights was first of all the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the manager and his staff. We were even lucky enough to have been offered a dinner, which was absolutely fantastic. As mentioned, we were very happy with the ambient and the abundance of space in the room/studio. Siting on the balcony and drinking your favorite morning/evening drink while watching birds and fruit bats flying all around is as good as it gets. We were surprised how well the staff maintain clean and tidy rooms as well as the surroundings of the house. We were also a big fan of the in-house drinks fridge, which is self-service. The only thing that could see some improvement in my opinion is the kitchenette. It is useful, but very basic. The stove is painfully slow. A gas stove or induction plate would be a superb upgrade. For some people, it should be noted, that there is quite a walk to the beach. There is a small local beach, but it is not as nice as the main one in Beau Vallon and it is not extremely close either. That said, we had no problem walking every day and using the bus. There is plenty of bus stops all around and it is a good way to explore the island. From the lodge to the main road is about 8-10 minutes walk, and a further 1 minute to the bus stop and another 2 minutes to the closest shop. The local beach is around 10-15 minutes of walking and the Beau Vallon beach is around 30 minutes of walking. If this is a problem for you, rent a car. There is free parking at the lodge.

Oceanic View Apartments gave me a real feeling of safety and personal comfort. In my life I used to travel a lot and had seen many different self-catering establishments, expensive hotels and apartments. By the way, I stayed the first part of my trip at a good and quite expensive hotel, with breakfast and cleaning. Unfortunately, without such a fantastic view. One of the most important things over any kind of travelling is the safety of your stuff. Comfort comes after, because it is not comfortable to think that something can happen with expensive computers, cameras, documents and money. Oceanic View looks like a little fortress with walls, modern moving cameras, automatic switching light system and security. So my first and very important demand was satysfied. When I entered the territory, I got nervous, because my luggage was extreamly heavy! Two strong man helped me everywhere to put it up and down. But Maria and Brian helped me to put everything on the 3-d floor. They said: "Just relax, and don't worry". So it was true. My room had a really fantastic view. It was the biggest one. I didn't look the other rooms, but this one was good enought for everything. Cupboards for my many many dressings) Little table with big mirror, separate table with two comfortable chairs, nightstand, pretty evening lightening everywhere! The bad was also big and comfortable.Modern quite air conditioner, very gentle fan (believe me, fans can be very agressive), and of course two side fantastic view! This view showed me how people live on the Island and what they were doing. Very good experience! I would like also mention that you will be able to see night Beau Vallon and the Island. It is impossible to do it from the first line, just believe me. It was some kind of evening meditation when I was sitting very high in dark, drinking tasty cocktail, thinking about how things are going. No interruption, just relax.

First of all we really appreciated Rupert's warm welcome, kindness and his helpfulness. The apartment was very clean, not far from the beach (it's a really nice walk to the beach). Supermarket, ATM, restaurants, the market, even the open air gym, everything is nearby. We'd surely book it again.

Очень удобное расположение. Рядом пляж, магазины и очень хорошая пиццерия, где можно заказать еду на вынос и кушать уже у себя на террасе с видом на бассейн.

Очень гостеприимная хозяйка, за 5 дней отдыха почувствовали себя как дома среди близких людей, идеальная уборка номера , замена каждый день полотенец , чистота везде, вкуснейшие завтраки, каждый день свежие фрукты , сок, разная выпечка. Скучаем и обязательно вернемся. Красивая территория, много цветов. Рядом автобусная остановка , продуктовый магазин , сувениры , рестораны. Всем рекомендую.
