The hotel is perfectly set up for exploring Huangshan and other sites in the area. The staff are fully engaged in making sure you have a great time. The accommodation itself has an industrial/backpacker feel to it which I liked and is very different from most Chinese hotels. Highly recommended.

Nice econòmic room in the hearth of Xidi village. Xidi village is wonderfull and calm. Good restaurant downstairs Friendly people even dont talk any english.

Only a 2-minute walk from the famous Old Street in Huangshan, Hui Boutique Hotel offers ancient Chinese-style architecture and wooden décor. The hotel is full of old world charm and detail and was a fantastic experience; at the same time it was extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and assisted us with several issues we had navigating transportation as well as payment given we are foreigners and could not use american credit cards. We are from warm-weather climates and were a little nervous if the old structure could warm up enough at night (about 20s Fahrenheit which was cold to us!) but they have heaters and AC going and thick warm blankets. Very cozy! Delicious local wanton restaurant just a few steps away on the main street, where we had a fantastic breakfast.
