Situated 2.5 km from Gubei Water Town in Miyun and Simatai Great Wall, 20 km from Jinshanling Great Wall, Jumanyuan House features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The hosts were super hospitable, warm and friendly. The owner came to Beijing Airport to pick me up and brought me safely to their home. It felt like a homestay with home cooked breakfast. The breakfast was sumptuous, and had this very homestyle feel. The location is just six minutes away from the Gubei Watertown and Simatai Great Wall. I wanted to see the Great Wall at night so I chose to stay here. The owner drove me to Gubei Watertown and back to the hotel so transportation was fine and good. Wifi was fine and the bed was huge. Again, the owners were so kind and friendly. I felt like a VIP.

The quality of amenities is unbelievably good, the location of the hotel next to Dongsi Street is imo the best location in Beijing. The room was spacy, the cushions were ergonomic, and because of the mattress, I had one of the best sleeps from all the travels I did so far (I travel a lot). The hotel Manager is kind and friendly, hospitable and very motivated to learn more English or speak it better. There is a tea café in the lobby where you'll sure have your best tea cup in Beijing. Highly recommended hotel and definitely staying there the next time I visit Beijing.

Situated in Miyun, just 50 metres away from the Great Wall, this friendly hostel features modern architecture, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Auper beautiful place. Very clean rooms. Extremely friendly and polite owner. 3 very cute cats. We came very late and the owner still cooked for us an absolutely perfect dinner. We loved to stay there and will come back. To visit great wall there are various choices. We took a taxi to Simatai and went up by cable car. Then hiked down. An unforgetable experience.
