Yangshuo Hillside Homestay ligger mindre end 2,5 km fra det naturskønne område Darongshu og 10 km fra busstationen Yangshuo South. Der er spabad og gratis privat parkering. Nicely designed, with remnants of old house deliberately kept to retain a bit of history. Interior is very clean with comfy beds and room layout. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful in making our trip such an enjoyable and memorable one! We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to be back!

The suite was perfectly located in the quiet village overlooking the rice fields, but with everything you need walking distance away. The terrace was just the most peaceful place on earth and the staff was extremely friendly helping us with all the paying hussle travelling to China as a foreigner can nowadays include if you don't have WeChat.

Baike Boutique Hotel ligger i Longji Rice Terraces og har restaurant. De fleste af værelserne har balkon med fantastisk udsigt over terrassen. Even better than the pictures! Perfect location. Fantastic and helpful staff. I wish I had stayed much longer than two nights. I can't overhype this hotel!

Giggling Tree er et unikt pensionat, som ligger i den lille landsby Little Mountain Gate, blot 5 km fra Yangshuo. Der tilbydes traditionelle bondehuse, smuk gårdhave og udendørs swimmingpool. The Giggling hotel has great location at the Yulong river. we rented electric scooters to ride along this river. you can also ride to Yangshuo downtown. Kids like the outside swimming pools a lot. they swim twice a day. the large one is 1,40m deep. food is excellent and affordable (chinese and western). kids like the french fries with self made chicken nuggets a lot, we ate other chinese food, all very delicious (salads, eggplant, lemon chicken etc). Employees are very friendly and help with everything. Large rooms have good airconditiing, large comfortable beds (with mosquito nets if needed) and bathrooms are large and very comfortable and stylish. we also took taxi to Guilin (sevenstars park and downtown) and ofcourse we also went to ride boat on the Li river and to dazhai longji rice terraces. Swimming pool was a big suprise and big PLUS.

Zen Box House ligger i landsbyen Jiuxian, 9 km fra Yangshuos centrum. Der tilbydes restaurant og gratis cykler. Loved the laid back vibe of the village and the hotel. I was after a retreat from the city and that’s exactly what I got, didn’t want to leave! 老张 is very hospitable - always checking if you’re hungry and then will whip something up in the kitchen. Another guest that arrived said they wanted to hike some of the nearby hills so 老张 was like, ‘let’s go!’ and took us - the entrance is through someone else’s kitchen/back garden so we’d never have got access ourselves. He also mentioned he could take us to places to swim, climb etc. Really love the village atmosphere, everyone knows each other and knows the secret routes/best food spots. Reminded me of my rural village community in the UK. I was able to borrow 老张‘s road bike and cycled to the river to catch one of the rafts, it’s about a ~30min leisurely cycle to get there. There are cycle/foot paths along the river too, so another nice way to experience the scenery. The hotel itself is very quaint. I had one of the Japanese style single rooms and was very happy there, it looks exactly like the picture. They will pre-heat the bed for you in the colder months, nice touch! Water, tissues, towel etc all provided. The toilets and showers are just downstairs, a 10 second walk, and are very pleasant. The toilets are the Japanese ones with heated seats etc. The other helper is also lovely, and she packed my rucksack with fresh pomelo when I set off for my cycle excursion. They grow pomelo etc. beside the house, and also have chickens so eggs fresh too. Loved the rooftop, very zen and great view over the hills. They also have some friendly cats. Will 100% return.

Long Ji One Art Hotel tilbyder fredelig oase i en bambusbygning i Longsheng. Der er gratis WiFi. Nogle af ferieboligerne har fantastisk udsigt over risterrassen Longsheng. The Staff is very friendly, they work as a family and the food they serve is very traditional Chinese food which we liked a lot. The bath tub on the terrace was a blast, kids and us enjoyed a lot relaxing in a warm water tub after a long trip.

Our Inn ligger 2 minutters færgetur fra Xing Ping Town og tilbyder flot udsigt over bjergene. Der er gratis trådløs internetadgang, restaurant og hyggelige værelser med kabel-tv. The inn is very nice and the staff was really helpful. The owner speaks English which is quite handy. It is possible to have dinner and breakfast there which are also quite good. The hotel is located on the left bank of the river, this is very good to start hiking but be aware that the last boat from the town centre is around 7pm, so it is hard to stay longer in the town center
