Nicely designed, with remnants of old house deliberately kept to retain a bit of history. Interior is very clean with comfy beds and room layout. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful in making our trip such an enjoyable and memorable one! We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to be back!

It is just heaven : the smell of wood brought back childhood memories of the Alps. The suite was perfectly located in the quiet village overlooking the rice fields, but with everything you need walking distance away. The terrace was just the most peaceful place on earth and the staff was extremely friendly helping us with all the paying hussle travelling to China as a foreigner can nowadays include if you don't have WeChat.

O Baike Boutique Hotel está localizado em Longji Rice Terraces e oferece um restaurante. A maioria dos quartos oferece varanda privativa com vista deslumbrante do terraço. Even better than the pictures! Perfect location. Fantastic and helpful staff. I wish I had stayed much longer than two nights. I can't overhype this hotel!

A apenas 5 km de Yangshuo, o The Giggling Tree é uma pousada exclusiva localizada na pequena aldeia de Little Mountain Gate. Possui fazendas tradicionais, um belo pátio e uma piscina ao ar livre. Fomos muito bem recebidas por todo o staff, que é bastante simpático, fala inglês e está sempre disponível para nos ajudar. O restaurante funciona em período alargado e a comida é boa e variada. Fica num local longe da confusão do centro, com paisagens lindíssimas para visitar a pé e sossegado. Voltarei quando possível.

Oferecendo um restaurante e bicicletas gratuitas, o Zen Box House está localizado em Jiuxian Village, a 9 km do centro da cidade de Yangshuo. Loved the laid back vibe of the village and the hotel. I was after a retreat from the city and that’s exactly what I got, didn’t want to leave! 老张 is very hospitable - always checking if you’re hungry and then will whip something up in the kitchen. Another guest that arrived said they wanted to hike some of the nearby hills so 老张 was like, ‘let’s go!’ and took us - the entrance is through someone else’s kitchen/back garden so we’d never have got access ourselves. He also mentioned he could take us to places to swim, climb etc. Really love the village atmosphere, everyone knows each other and knows the secret routes/best food spots. Reminded me of my rural village community in the UK. I was able to borrow 老张‘s road bike and cycled to the river to catch one of the rafts, it’s about a ~30min leisurely cycle to get there. There are cycle/foot paths along the river too, so another nice way to experience the scenery. The hotel itself is very quaint. I had one of the Japanese style single rooms and was very happy there, it looks exactly like the picture. They will pre-heat the bed for you in the colder months, nice touch! Water, tissues, towel etc all provided. The toilets and showers are just downstairs, a 10 second walk, and are very pleasant. The toilets are the Japanese ones with heated seats etc. The other helper is also lovely, and she packed my rucksack with fresh pomelo when I set off for my cycle excursion. They grow pomelo etc. beside the house, and also have chickens so eggs fresh too. Loved the rooftop, very zen and great view over the hills. They also have some friendly cats. Will 100% return.

O Long Ji One Art Hotel oferece um retiro tranquilo em um edifício com palafitas de bambu em Longsheng. Para sua comodidade, a propriedade dispõe de WiFi gratuito. The Staff is very friendly, they work as a family and the food they serve is very traditional Chinese food which we liked a lot. The bath tub on the terrace was a blast, kids and us enjoyed a lot relaxing in a warm water tub after a long trip.

Everything! It was such a great place - our host Shirley was fantastic and so helpful, her English was fantastic and she was so kind and generous with her time. It was such a cosy, authentic and comfortable stay. Even the food was homestyle, fresh and tasty. I felt so at home there.
