With the free upgrade, I had a large room with two beautiful kang beds. The room was extremely clean. It was wonderful to have such an authentic experience, with traditional furniture and even a wooden door that locks with padlock and key. Both heating and aircon ensured my comfort, the water was hot and the guesthouse owner was very kind. It's also in a fantastic location.

All units are fitted with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a minibar, a kettle, a walk-in shower, slippers and a desk. A terrace with an outdoor dining area and garden views is offered in each unit. The units have a private bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. The host is very nice and polite. Just next to Xietongqing Unincorporated Bank Museum, Pingyao Baichanghong Hotel is a paper-cut-themed guest house located right in the heart of Pingyao County, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has paper-cut teaching and a gift shop on site. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.

It is located in Ancient City of Pingyao, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It provides massage service, barbecue facilities and daily tour arrangements. The owners are extremely friendly and they speak English fantastically. The hotel itself looks like out of a movie, its inner courtyard s were beautiful. My room with a huge Kang bed was just incredible; I also liked the touch with the many plants in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Tastefully furnished with bright prints, the air-conditioned rooms come with a cable TV and side table. Each unit also features a traditional Kang bed and a seating area. Private bathrooms offer 24-hour hot water, shower and hairdryer. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pingyao and stay at the Pingyao Ji Family Courtyard Inn. The staff were wonderful. Staying at this hotel is like a magical walk back in time.
