With the free upgrade, I had a large room with two beautiful kang beds. The room was extremely clean. It was wonderful to have such an authentic experience, with traditional furniture and even a wooden door that locks with padlock and key. Both heating and aircon ensured my comfort, the water was hot and the guesthouse owner was very kind. It's also in a fantastic location.

Just next to Xietongqing Unincorporated Bank Museum, Pingyao Baichanghong Hotel is a paper-cut-themed guest house located right in the heart of Pingyao County, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.

A Pingyao Harmony Hotel kínai és nyugati ételekkel, szépen berendezett szobákkal, valamint egyszerű hálótermekkel várja vendégeit. The owners are extremely friendly and they speak English fantastically. The hotel itself looks like out of a movie, its inner courtyard s were beautiful. My room with a huge Kang bed was just incredible; I also liked the touch with the many plants in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Housed in a 400-year-old courtyard built in Qing Dynasty, Pingyao Jintaisheng Hotel used to be the only flour factory in Pingyao Ancient City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at the end of Qing Dynasty.... We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pingyao and stay at the Pingyao Ji Family Courtyard Inn. The staff were wonderful. Staying at this hotel is like a magical walk back in time.
