Ideally situated on Stranraer seafront, overlooking Loch Ryan and just 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and train station, this family-run guest house offers free Wi-Fi, ample, free, off-street... The host, Elaine, was exceptional. Our room was at the back of the house and nice and quiet. Complimentary sips of whisky and chocolate helped us relax after a terrible travel day. Easy walking to city center and train station. Vegan breakfast was delicious.

Situated in Gatehouse of Fleet, Woodlyn Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a tennis court and golf courses situated within easy walking distance. Everything was just extraordinary! Kevin and Nikki are passionate hosts and really care about their guests. A warm welcome was followed by interesting and useful recommendations as well as really sympathetic conversations at breakfast. And the breakfast! A wonderful menu to choose from, all freshly prepared to our liking and on top homemade toast. The huge bed was comfy, we had a very quiet rest every night. The room was spotless clean. We will surely come back when in the region again.
