Wonderful location, lovely outdoor area that allowed for eating outside when the weather is nice and a large kitchen area and balcony. The owners are absolutely lovely too! For those wanting to relax on their own, the hand built beds and foldaway table in the rooms also made the cosy rooms a nice area to eat and play cards if you prefer. More than enough parking. Perfect location to Loch Lomond, local shops and pubs and the charming Cashel Forest for nice hikes and walks along the pebble beaches. Being on this side of the Loch really makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, despite being less than an hour from Glasgow. A perfect trip with my family.

Excellent host who was willing to fulfil our special request of a very late check-in - a request that we found very hard to accept by other hotels or guest houses doing in-person check-in in that area. Fantastic breakfast menu you can choose from the evening before. Even better the taste and quantity of served meals we were not able to finish. We had a very short but the better stay at Gowanlea Guest House I would recommend to anybody. If coming back to Balloch and surroundings, definitely going to stay at Gowanlea again.

Located 29 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens, The Loch Lomond Guesthouse offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a shared lounge. This was such a great place to stay. James was super nice and welcoming, the guesthouse is beautiful and well located and the room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great too. We would love to come back

Located in Balmaha and only 23 km from Mugdock Country Park, Arrochoile provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great location, amazing breakfast, comfy room- couldn’t have asked for more! This was our first night along the west highland way, and it was absolutely perfect.

Close to Balloch Castle Country Park, Woodvale is situated in Balloch and has a garden. Free WiFi is offered. A flat-screen TV and DVD player are available in some units. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were super sweet. Facilities were clean and hospitable. They provided cookies to go with the tea/coffee.

Situated in Arrochar, TwoStones offers accommodation with loch and mountain views. Free WiFi is available. Perfect location nice view from the room window. The host is very helpful and welcoming.

The Garrison Of Inversnaid Farm with Hot Tub was built in 1719 and is set in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. The location is extraordinary and the owners live up to what they stand for.

The Corries B&B is located just outside Luss in Inverbeg on Glen Douglas, boasting views of Loch Lomond. Free WiFi access is available, and guests can enjoy a full Scottish breakfast each morning. Everything. What a peaceful spot. The views were beautiful including from the outdoor deck. Brodie was beyond helpful and even picked us up in the village upon our arrival.

Located in the picturesque village of Luss, just 3 minutes’ walk from the banks of Loch Lomond, Alderdale B&B features accommodation with outdoor seating area. Free public parking is possible on site.... We arrived late and were exhausted. Annelise couldn’t be more accommodating. She quickly provided an adapter for our US chargers and recommended the Bistro next door for dinner. Our room was spotless, with many breakfast items available for the morning. The village is very quaint.
