Quiet location close to the beach with lovely vistas. Hostess is very thoughtful, sweet and has excellent recommendations with loads of information about the area and Ireland in general. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family heading this way.

Set in Clifden and only 5.1 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial, Railway Avenue Rooms offers accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lorna gave us clear instructions beforehand on how to get inside the apartment and was very friendly. The place itself was super clean and comfortable! The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend to stay here!

Located in Tubber, in a historic building, 27 km from Dromoland Golf Course, The Burren Inn is a bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace. Charming rural location with great views and people. Rooms were very clean and the building was newly renovated. The attached pub turned into a nice community gathering spot at night with lots of drinking options on tap!

Located in Cong and only 1.3 km from Ashford Castle, Salmon Weir Lodge provides accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautifully appointed home with history going back to the Guinness family. Large, comfortable room, sparkling clean, amazing and delicious breakfast, opportunity to meet guests from around the world. So close to the village, pubs, live music, trails to walk, the Ashford Castle, beautiful river. Was the highlight of our Ireland trip. Host Rachael is the best with delightful conversations and excellent referrals for places to eat, sites to see.

Located in Galway and only 4.5 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium, Seacrest provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Room was great. Dining area and breakfast exceeded expectations. Views were fantastic. Host was so friendly and helpful.

Situated in Claregalway and only 10 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium, Claregalway Castle features accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. Otherwise property is part of a former castle ruin that was restored with great attention to detail. The accommodations are not in the castle building which is a museum. An additional building was erected to complement the available room potential that was part of the out houses of the castle. This new building was created to a very exacting standard to recreate the atmosphere that is modern but historical. Breakfast was included in our room and was continental with fresh berries, cereal, breads, Jogurt, coffee and was to a high standard. The dining or breakfast room is a charm with furniture that perfectly fits to the property atmosphere. A lack of a room rubbish bin was a problem but was solved on request. The property is across from a well kept Franciscan Friary ruin and has walkways direct beside the adjacent Clare River. It’s a great place for kids too as 1) they are welcome and 2) the ground are quite large and filled with either Art objects or flowers and greenery. During our stay the neighbours cat showed up!

Offering a terrace and garden view, Dan O'Hara Farmhouse B&B is set in Clifden, 12 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 26 km from Kylemore Abbey. Lovely stay, staff really friendly. Nice welcoming with coffee and homemade cake on arrival. Location excellend and beautiful place to walk around. We will come back there because of the atmosphere was like home.

Offering a garden and garden view, Ardmore House is set in Clifden, 11 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 23 km from Kylemore Abbey. The bed was so comfortable, was an actual American-sized king, and had a top sheet! Food was great, host was lovely. Cliff walk was a wonderful unique feature.
