Offering a garden and garden view, Snehatheeram Homestay is set in Alleppey, 3.2 km from Alleppey Lighthouse and 4.8 km from Alappuzha Railway Station. Binu and George and their family are the perfect hosts. They were SO KIND and even helped me receive a package at their house that I needed whilst travelling. They also arranged a taxi for us to the airport, and a boat to take us for the morning around the backwaters. The room was very clean and comfortable with great AC. The location was perfect for us - within 10 minutes walk there was the bus station, restaurants, the boat jetty, and temples. We explored the beach one evening and realised that’s where most of the foreign travellers are… made us even more glad about our choice! Wifi worked well for streaming movies, but we didn’t try working remotely. Communication in English was fine too I would 100% stay here again. Great value and overall experience.

Set 700 metres from Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, 4.5 km from Napier Museum and 1 km from Kuthiramalika Palace, RAMAS GARDEN features accommodation situated in Trivandrum. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, everything was as described! Check out Villa Maya nearby for meals and drop into yoga at the nearby Sivananda center - 500inr 6:15 am and pm. Can use Uber here.

Kerala cottage is set on the seafront in Varkala, a few steps from Odayam Beach and 400 metres from Edava Beach. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and lovely, the location was pure magic and breakfast delicious. Area is very quiet and serene (plus soothing wave sounds).

Set within 200 metres of Alleppey Beach and 2.6 km of Thumpoly Beach, Neela Waters - Beach Home provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alleppey. Very nice and clean homestay right next to beach. I would recommend staying here.

Located within 600 metres of Fort Kochi Beach and 700 metres of Kochi Biennale in Fort Kochi, Casa Feliz features accommodation with seating area. We loved our stay at Casa Feliz and would definitely recommend staying here. The family who run the place are so friendly and willing to help with anything. We loved it here so much we ended up staying an extra 4 nights!

Landy Queen is set in Munnar, 1.9 km from Munnar Tea Museum, 10 km from Mattupetty Dam, as well as 17 km from Anamudi Peak. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk.... Great location - right next to the restaurants area and close to the center of the city The room was very clean and spacious The bed is confortable The view on the balcony is very beautiful The owner is very kind and warm and he was very helpful when we needed recommendations. I highly recommend!

La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. Joseph and Nimmy are the most wonderful hosts . They completely went out of their way for our comfort and were so helpful , friendly and just lovely people . The atmosphere is so serene , it is spotlessly clean and the location couldn’t be better to explore the surrounds . We hadn’t been to india for 25 years so we were a little apprehensive and Joseph put us completely at ease straight away and we loved it there . We were very sad to Leave and already would like to return ! We were privileged to be in Catherine’s room ! The only regret I had is not knowing the language so I couldn’t speak to Joseph’s mother . You must go ! You will have no regrets :) Perfect place!

This is a very nice place to stay at Kollam ! View is awesome with a peaceful atmosphere Staff is very kind and can arrange everything you need. Room is very clean and breakfast is great ! If you need a Tuuk tuk (electric one) to move around or get to/from Kollam ask for Rajesh Tuuk Tuk living nearby. Staff can give you the phone number.
