The owner was born and raised in Umm Qais, so he can tell you all about the ancient Roman and Ottoman city, its artefacts, and give you some tips for the area. The breakfast was great - everything local and even some treats from his fruit trees!

You meet with real people that care for you because they really do, not because their job requires it. Very authentic experience. Don't forget to go for dinner at Bein Ne'la's place and try some of the delicious homemade marmalades from citrusy fruits they made. Umm Qais archeological site is within 10 minutes of walking distance and the view of Golan heights is amazing.

Owner is very well behaved...he made tea for us by himself....we got warm welcome by his daughter which was very much cordial....we asked for home made food and he cooked for maklouba and beef cofta and he dined with us also which was a very good expereince we ever had.......Overall experience was very good....we recommend this homestay/ hotel for staying at Umm qais....Thank you Ahmed for great hoapitality..
