Rooms were quite clean with a really epic view. We also enjoyed the exclusive dining experience of being served food cooked by locals and entertained by malik's stories about Dana and poetry. We would have loved to stay there longer

Our room was spacious, the shared bathroom was clean and the water was hot. Breakfast was superb! Our host cooked dinner for us one night which was delicious. The views and sunset are gorgeous. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt at home. This is the place to stay in Petra.

We loved being with the animals and Saddam was a super friendly accomodating host, who is happy to help you with anything. Come prepared with supplies and water and you should have the most relaxing stay!

Our host, Faesal, owns a guest house in the Bedoun Village of Uum Seyhoun, a 5 minute drive from Wadi Musa. He and the other families in this village were early inhabitants of the Petra area. The guesthouse has comfy beds and a charming communal space out front to relax and have breakfast and/or dinner. His wife cooked a delicious meal for our dinner when we arrived late and hungry. He was most kind in giving us suggestions on how best to see Petra the next day. He set up transportation to and from the site so that we could leave our car at the guest house for the day. Overall, it's a great value (our breakfast was included) and very convenient to Petra. We also enjoyed staying in the small local town rather than in a hotel right outside Petra, which was nice but much more touristy. We would stay there again if and when we return.
