The guest house was very well kept, you could see the effort of creating a homely and cozy space. Staff were super helpful and really kind! The room had a beautiful view on the river side and a very nice balcony.

Comfortable matresses and nice curtains for privacy. The amenities were great too, a good washing machine and squeaky clean kitchen and bathroom. The place is been renovated a few years ago but still looks great. The part I loved most is the contact with Chris the owner, who is very nice to talk to and give tips about the region. Thanks a lot !

I ended up going to see the peach blossoms, hiking up a beautiful hill and finishing my day off at an onsen. So much interactivity from the owner, who would message me through the day when I got lost. Great location, and free parking available (tell them in advance). Host let me use the facilities which was a great help. Very clean and a nice house.

Nosotros disfrutamos mucho de la zona de BBC por la noche, alrededor de fuego se creo un ambiente genial. El perrito de la familiar es suuper cuqui! En nuestra opinión se necesita coche para moverte por la zona.

El Shinazawa ofrece alojamiento de 2 estrellas en Nozawa Onsen, a 4,3 km del lago Hokuryuko y a menos de 1 km de Nozawa Onsen Oyu. The accommodation is lovely, with spacious rooms, comfy tatami beds, and traditional pyjamas provided. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast is excellent. There's an onsen onsite and other options nearby. An excellent dinner is available at a reasonable price. Also, Tommy's Burger is across the street. I read that some people commented on the location not being good. I'm not too sure what they were expecting. It's only a 15-10 minute walk from the ski field, and some equipment providers let you store your gear at the base, so it's a pretty easy walk. I highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay there again.

DONT stay anywhere else. Treated like family. Easy to reach by train. Easy to bus up the ski fields. Great selection of places to eat in Yamanouchi - ask hosts. Good start to the day with their complimentary breakfast.
